Copyright & Licensing

We believe in open platforms and while also protecting our business interests. As a result we have different licences and copyright terms for our platform products and copyright terms for the products and services we sell. If you have additional licensing needs, please reach out to support@typetura.com and we’re happy to help.

The Typetura core platform is open source and free to use. You can use it for business or personal use at any scale. You might have noticed we didn’t use an off-the-shelf open source license like MIT or GPL. The Typetura license is similar to the MIT license, but restricts modification and sublicensing of the software. The fine folks over at GSAP have a wonderful post about why they chose a different license for a stronger product and support. If you need a different license or a modification for your project, reach out any time at support@typetura.com.
